Okay everyone here it is! The new skin and something to spice things up! DON'T FREAK OUT. The changes that are made with this skin are all great improvements! As we have more players joining and as we ourselves try to encourage more RPing on here with other characters, this skin will allow for just that!
First things first! If after you log in and the skin that appears isn't the new one, then here is what you need to do:
- Click on the profile tab at the top.
- Then click edit profile.
- Click the Settings Tab.
- Scroll down to Forum Theme Catagory
- Click Drop down and select "Love Struck"
That will set your account to view the new skin as soon as you log in.
New Profile Features
The fun part about this new theme is the added profile features
There are now mini-profiles for added info and fun. As of right now your 200 x 350 background av is set at the default (the rearing racehorse), but you can change this to whatever 200 x 350 image that you want(see mine as an example). Please be mindful that the dimensions are 200 x 350. If you need help making one, I am more than willing to create one for you if you reply here, just please follow the dimensions. ;)
Once you have the new image for the background to your avatar uploaded online, click on edit profile again. Then click the Personal tab. After that scroll down to the bottom and you will see a field that says "200x350 Avatar". Post the link to your picture and click "save personal settings" down at the bottom.
[SIDE NOTE:] Avatar size - The new dimensions for the avatars are 150 x 150 - again, I'm willing to help members create one if they are having issues.
Other fun features:
Link to your Plotter Thread - this will make it easier for you to keep track of the threads that you might have going on with your characters! (and I'm STRONGLY encouraging everyone to RP outside of just doing Workouts! Get your characters out there and I promise you'll start getting fresh muse for those mundane workouts!) The location of this is found again in the personal section of your profile and it is the field right under the 200 x 350 Avatar field. Just post the DIRECT URL to your plotter thread and again click "save personal settings" and VOILA.
You can now also link music to YOUR profile!it's fun. All you have to do is put a direct link to an mp3 file (uploaded to kiwi6.com) and it is located again under the personal section under the Plotter field. You can get a free account at Kiwi6.com and there you can upload music. Once you've uploaded it copy and paste the direct link into the music field and click on the "save personal settings" and people can jam out to your tunes! You can have your own THEME SONG...say whaaaa...
Okay. The sidebar is fun. Just click on the tabs for the respected information and make sure you pay attention to the info and updates tabs ;)
